Hormones Gone Wild – ADHD Meets the Menstrual Cycle

Autor kursu: Jane Dancey

There was a time when you thought your changing moods, energy, and focus were random — one day unstoppable, the next completely drained. But what if it wasn’t chaos at all? What if your hormones were whispering a pattern, a rhythm, a message your body has known all along?

This course is your invitation to listen. To understand how your menstrual cycle and ADHD traits dance together — sometimes in harmony, sometimes out of sync — and to finally find your own rhythm within it.

Opis

How to align with your menstrual cycle and harness its power for greater wellbeing – through the lens of ADHD

Have you noticed how your energy, focus, and emotions shift throughout the month? For women with ADHD, these changes can feel even stronger — inspiring one moment, overwhelming the next. This course helps you see your cycle as a map that reveals your natural rhythms, emotional patterns, and creative flow.

You’ll learn how each phase of the menstrual cycle — menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal — affects your ADHD traits, and how to work with these changes instead of against them. Through practical tools, reflective exercises, and gentle awareness practices, you’ll discover how to plan, rest, and recharge in harmony with your body.

This course is for:
  • Women and menstruating individuals who live with ADHD or identify as neurodivergent.
  • Anyone who wants to deepen their connection with their body and understand the emotional, energetic, and hormonal patterns that shape daily life.
  • Those seeking practical tools to manage focus, rest, and productivity in sync with their natural cycle.
  • Coaches, therapists, and wellbeing practitioners who wish to integrate menstrual awareness into their work with neurodivergent clients.

What will you learn?
  • Understand the four phases of your menstrual cycle and their hormonal, emotional, and energetic patterns.
  • Discover how each phase influences ADHD traits like focus, motivation, and emotional regulation.
  • Learn to plan, rest, and recharge in harmony with your body’s natural rhythm.
  • Cultivate deeper self-compassion, self-acceptance, and intuitive self-care.
  • Develop your own cycle-tracking practice and daily rituals that support body–mind–soul balance.

About the author:

As an Integrative Health Coach, Functional Kinesiologist, and Somatic Movement Therapist, I support women in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming vitality, balance, and feminine power. My work weaves together the nervous system, hormones, neurodivergence, trauma, and environment — exploring how they shape our health and sense of wholeness.

I believe in a deeply inclusive, holistic approach to female wellbeing. The body is an interconnected ecosystem — when we listen to its wisdom, true healing begins. In my work, I draw on somatic movement, kinesiology, yoga, breathwork, nutrition, and embodiment practices to help women build awareness and resilience.

My path began far from health — in the creative world of fashion and film. The fast-paced lifestyle led me into burnout and health crises that became powerful teachers. Navigating endometriosis, surgery, and emotional breakdown guided me to a new life: one rooted in healing, motherhood, and self-discovery.

For over 20 years I’ve studied female health, embodiment, trauma, and the nervous system — blending science with soul. I’m passionate about changing the way women experience their bodies and cycles, creating spaces for education, empowerment, and deep healing.

I now live on the Sussex coast with my husband, daughter, and our animals, continually inspired by nature, women’s stories, and my daughter — the heart of my work and my greatest teacher.
